The Flight of Geese: Lessons on Shared Leadership
When geese fly in a V-formation, they remind us that leadership is not about staying in front forever. The lead goose eventually rotates back to rest, while another steps forward to guide the flock. This rhythm allows the group to travel farther than any bird could alone. Teams work the same way. Leadership that never rotates leads to burnout and bottlenecks, but when responsibility shifts, energy is renewed and progress is sustained.
